Rasan Law Firm  and Legal Consultations Obligations: 

1. Legal services through the MedMal platform will be provided according to the type of membership selected by the member and during its valid period (annually).
2. Legal services — whether consultations, representation, or defense — will be rendered based on the membership type and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and established judicial precedents.
3. Services provided by Rasan Law Firm and Legal Consultations are rendered with due care and diligence, not with a guarantee of results.
4. Rasan Law Firm and Legal Consultations commits to delivering its representation and legal defense services with the highest level of professionalism and expertise.
5. Legal services will be provided to the member in accordance with the membership type, and only for matters arising after the start date of the membership.
6. Rasan Law Firm and Legal Consultations commits to appointing a lawyer on behalf of the member to handle the case (as per the terms and conditions) at all stages, taking all necessary legal actions, preparing the required pleadings and legal briefs, and attending and representing the member (remotely) in electronic court sessions until the case is concluded.
7. Both parties acknowledge that the agreement is based on a sincere and diligent effort to provide adequate legal protection to the member.
8. Member information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed, directly or indirectly, without the member’s written consent.

Member’s Obligations: 

1. The member must have valid medical malpractice insurance coverage throughout the membership period.
2. The member must be licensed to practice their profession, with a valid license during the membership term.
3. The member must have an official classification from the relevant authorities (if not affiliated with a government entity).
4. The member is required to notify Rasan immediately upon becoming aware of any incident involving a medical error or violation in which they are accused or involved. They must not engage in any investigation or take any action before notifying Rasan.
5. The member must disclose to Rasan any claims or lawsuits filed against them, or any known circumstances that may lead to such claims before the start of the membership. These cases will be subject to separate legal fees as determined by the firm and are not included in the membership.
6. The member must obtain a legal power of attorney from the competent authority authorizing the lawyer appointed by the firm to act on their behalf. This power of attorney must grant broad authority allowing the lawyer to act at their discretion in alignment with Sharia principles and applicable laws, and in the best interest of the member.
7. The member must provide all necessary information and take all actions required to enable the firm to assign the appropriate lawyer for legal representation, as outlined in the procedures and required documents under the “Request for Representation” option.
8. The member is responsible for paying the fees of experts, government or non-governmental charges, and any administrative expenses, if applicable.
9. The member must attend any sessions where their personal presence is required, either by court order or at Rasan’s request. Failure to attend releases the firm from any responsibility, and the member will bear any resulting costs.

User (Member) Declarations: 

The member hereby acknowledges and agrees to the following:

• I hereby declare that all information provided is complete and accurate, and that I have not misrepresented or withheld any material facts. (A material fact is one that could influence MedMal’s decision to approve the membership application.)

• I agree to keep all login credentials — including username, password, and any other related information — strictly confidential and not to disclose them to any third party, as part of our commitment to login security and privacy.

• I take full responsibility for my personal use of the website and any content I upload, and I agree that my use of the platform is subject to these terms, as well as all applicable local and national laws, regulations, and rules — including copyright and data protection laws.

• I will not collect or download any content from the platform, including but not limited to, user lists, electronic resources, or user information.

• If the account is used by multiple individuals or on behalf of an entity, the person in whose name the account is registered shall be responsible for all activity conducted through the account and must immediately notify Rasan of any unauthorized or illegal use.

• If there is any suspicion that someone else is aware of your account or password, you must notify us immediately at: MedMal@rasanllp.com.

Payment Policy: 

 • Amount Paid: The amount paid represents the membership fee for the platform, which grants you access to the services previously described.
• Cancellation and Refund Policy: Payment for the membership is made after reviewing the membership introduction and available services, as well as reading the terms and conditions. Therefore, no refunds will be issued once the membership has been accepted.
• Membership Approval: Submitting a membership application is not binding until it is formally accepted by Rasan within three (3) business days, after verifying compliance with the terms and conditions and sending the annual legal consultation agreement.
• If Membership Is Not Approved: The amount will be refunded to the applicant’s account, minus any applicable transfer or payment processing fees (e.g., through ClickPay).
